Interpretation

Global to Local offers interpreting services in three areas: interpreting in person, telephonic interpreting, and remote interpreting (also called video interpreting or VIS).

Interpreters in Person: Global to Local has a team of interpreters available for jobs around the clock.  We pride ourselves on being a quality service because we have hand picked the best of the best among the pool of interpreters already working in the Cincinnati area, Dayton, and Northern Kentucky.  Our interpreters are not only highly trained, they are also individuals who have that certain “spark,” a real gift for language, people, and customer service.  Our interpreters are more than just fluent, they are professionals of the highest caliber. In addition, Global has a large network of interpreters around the country and even the globe, we can generally provide an interpreter in any area upon request.

Interpreters by Phone: Global provides interpreters in over 150 languages available by phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Customers will be given a personalized phone # to call in to, and they are billed solely by the minute. There are no minimum fees, no monthly charges, and the service works wonderfully for customers that only need interpreters for short times or want an interpreter line available in case of emergency. Telephonic interpreting is one of our most basic and widely used services, and the telephonic, used in combination with interpreters in person, is a great solution for hospitals, schools, and medical centers of all kinds.

Remote Interpreters: Global is one of the first companies ready to offer a video remote interpreting solution to our clients. Although it was first developed with our deaf/hard of hearing clients and sign language interpreters in mind, it is available in many other languages as well.
